The Division: Heartland Announced By Ubisoft

Ubisoft has announced a new free-to-play game set in The Division universe called The Division: Heartland.

Red Storm Entertainment who developed the original Division game will be heading up development but the game will be standalone from the main series. The Division: Heartland is currently planned to release on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC in the 2021-2022 release window.

Sadly details are on the slim side but Ubisoft did say that it will be an "all-new perspective on the universe in a new setting", though.

There are some details on more future projects set in the Tom Clancy The Division universe though, a roadmap of what's to come is located in the below image.

Sony Announce The Next Generation Of PSVR

PSVR.png

Sony has confirmed they are bringing VR to the PlayStation 5 in a recent post on the PlayStation Blog.

Sony Said the following "Today I’m pleased to share that our next-generation VR system will be coming to PlayStation 5, enabling the ultimate entertainment experience with dramatic leaps in performance and interactivity."

They discussed the following possible improvements coming to the next generation VR by saying:

"We’re taking what we’ve learned since launching PS VR on PS4 to develop a next-gen VR system that enhances everything from resolution and field of view to tracking and input. It will connect to PS5 with a single cord to simplify setup and improve ease-of-use while enabling a high-fidelity visual experience."

The DualSense is probably the best thing about the PS5 and it looks like Sony is planning to continue that trend with the PSVR by adding similar features to the upcoming PSVR controller.

"One of the innovations we’re excited about is our new VR controller, which will incorporate some of the key features found in the DualSense wireless controller, along with a focus on great ergonomics."

Sadly they confirmed the new VR headset is a while off, with it not launching in 2021. It's honestly super refreshing for a gaming company to be somewhat open about current hardware in development, hopefully, this trend continues and spreads to other companies.

Xbox Games With Gold For January 2021

XBOX GAMES WITH GOLD JAN 2021

Microsoft has announced the next batch of games coming to games with gold for January 2021 and they're okay, not great though.

the following games are available to grab now if you're a member of Xbox Live:

Little Nightmares (A weird but cool indie game): Available January 1 to 31

Dead Rising (Go Play Dead Rising 4, it's great and super festive): Available January 16 to February 15

The King of Fighters XIII (I'm probably terrible at it): Available January 1 to 15

Breakdown (Had enough of those in 2020): Available January 16 to 31

Games With Gold has been super lackluster since Xbox Game Pass was revealed, Go Get Game Pass Ultimate and treat these additional games as a bonus. Also While we're here, go play Yakuza Zero on the game pass, it's probably the best game on there.
